Pife Online — Brazilian 9-Card Rummy
Pife, also called pif-paf, is a Brazilian rummy game for two to four players, each playing for themselves. Every seat gets nine cards, and on your turn you draw one card from the stock or the discard pile, then discard one. When nine of your ten cards form melds, you knock and win the round.

What are the rules of Pife?
- Each seat is dealt nine cards; the seat left of the dealer opens.
- A turn is: draw one card from the stock or the top of the discard pile, then discard one card face up.
- The card taken from the discard pile may not be discarded in the same turn.
- A meld is a run of three or more consecutive ranks of one suit (A-2-3 and Q-K-A count; K-A-2 does not) or a set of three or four cards of one rank in different suits.
- A joker may replace one card in a meld, at most one per meld.
- When your ten cards contain nine that split fully into melds, you knock: discard the tenth card, lay the melds down and win the round.
- When the stock runs out, the discard pile minus its top card is reshuffled into a new stock.
- Pife is a single round: the knocker places first and everyone else ties second.
